WHAT EXACTLY IS MOMENTS BY LIV?

Working as your personalized & luxury moment maker, I want to help plan, facilitate, and deliver whatever type of event you may have coming up. Luxury picnics, bridal showers, birthday's, graduation celebrations, intimate dinners, surprise parties, a relaxing pampered day with a friend, or maybe a simple charcuterie box drop off, let's chat about your vision, and I'll deliver!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

With just a few simple steps I can do as little or as much as you like for your luxury moment!

  1. Simply fill out my online form to receive an estimated quote- event type, style, desired date and location, etc. (You can find this under the Booking tab or button at the top right of my website) As many details as you can provide at this stage will give me a starting place to setup your FREE in-person consultation. 

  2. Within three business days I will follow up with a request for consultation. We can either meet somewhere around the Greenville area, or over FaceTime- whichever you are more comfortable with. These conversations are a great way for us to share ideas and vision prior to my sending a formal quote which includes a full outline of details for your event.

  3. Once agreed upon, the quote becomes an agreement you will be required to sign with payment deadlines which will be sent to you through my contract agreement. A 50% deposit is required to secure your requested booking at the end of three day hold once the contract has been received. 

  4. I will do all the set up, styling, and take down for your occasion! If there is a certain vendor you want included in your event for food/drink/any other important item, we can discuss that during our in-person consultation & I will do my best to include them into your special moment- so all you need to do is bring your friend(s) and a smile!

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING THE DAY OF MY OUTDOOR EVENT?

Living in Greenville, SC I know that the weather can change unexpectedly! For this reason, I request that all bookings have a backup location either indoors or under shelter where I can set up in the case of poor weather on the day of your picnic. A backup location will be solidified with every client during their in-person consultation, no matter the agreed upon primary location. If you decide you would rather not have your outdoor moment or luxury picnic, please see my cancellation policy. I will keep in close contact with you leading up to the day of your event to let you know of weather forecast and when/if your event needs to be moved to the agreed upon secondary location.

DO I HAVE TO PROVIDE MY OWN FOOD?

You certainly can! I also have connections with local restaurants in the Greenville area for catering if you so choose. You are welcome to make the arrangements, or I can! I also offer other food items you can book directly through me- charcuterie boards, small desserts, snacks, chocolate covered strawberries, etc. When we have our in-person consultation, we will talk about this. Please make sure to provide details of any food allergies or specific dietary requests with me (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc). A small fee may be incurred for substitutions, but all selections and prices will receive your approval before purchase.

WHAT IS A LUXURY PICNIC?

My luxury picnics are curated experiences, usually featuring beautiful place settings, a low-sitting table, pillows, and flower arrangements. While the tailored details vary, essentially these intimate gatherings bring people together in gorgeous surroundings to eat, drink, and be present in each other’s company while you create perfect shared memories. Beyond the high-end details, the most luxurious element is that you don’t lift a finger! I set up and style the space, then return and take everything away – you can even ask me to coordinate the catering and a menu full of other options.

WHAT LOCATIONS CAN I HAVE MY LUXURY MOMENT OR PICNIC?

Moments By Liv is based in Greenville, SC however, I am open to planning and delivering your special moment anywhere in the Southeast! Whether it's in a private space (inside your home, backyard, etc.) at a local park, or in the mountains, I want to make it the most special moment of your dreams! If you’re stuck on location I would be happy to make some recommendations (Greenville County has some pretty strict rules about locations for luxury picnics). Just let me know the area(s) you’re interested in having it. Travel is free within a 15-mile radius of Downtown Greenville, SC or at my personal recommended locations. Locations outside this area are subject to discussion – mileage fees may apply.

WILL YOU STAY DURING MY EVENT OR PICNIC?

Nope! I will be present to set-up and make sure you arrive to the event before I sneak out. I will be back by our agreed time of your event ending. If you need me before your event is over, I will provide my phone number you can call/text with questions or needs.

WHAT IF WE WANT TO LEAVE OUR PICNIC OR EVENT BEFORE OUR AGREED UPON ENDING TIME?

Not a problem! Shoot me a text/call to let me know that you will be leaving so I can come pack everything up. You will be responsible for ALL event pieces/decor until I arrive on-site to clean up (you will need to stay on-site until I arrive to avoid damages or theft of items that you will be responsible to replace). As a heads up, at that stage of your booking, your event/picnic is 100% non-refundable once the event has started, so even if you leave early, you will not be refunded any of your payment.

DO YOU SERVE ALCOHOL WITH YOUR SERVICES?

Unfortunately, Moments By Liv does not serve alcohol. The consumption of alcohol is prohibited in most local, public parks. You may consume alcohol, at your discretion, at approved locations. For events held in personal/private locations, you might consider my All But The Bubbly Mimosa Bar as an additional upgrade! I will bring all the juices, fruits, and accoutrements styled to enhance your event's style. You just bring the bubbly and cheers- mimosas!

WHAT DAYS & TIMES CAN I HAVE MY LUXURY MOMENT?

My regular luxury event hours are 10 am to 10 pm- I reserve the right to limit availability on holidays. Please note that it takes approximately 90 minutes to set up and about half that to take down - of course this can vary depending on the agreed upon size and elements incorporated into your moment. Each event's running time starts at 2hrs minimum and can go longer if the client requests. Events are charged by an hourly rate. If you want your event to start later or run longer than these posted hours please include this during our consultation.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I HAVE AT MY EVENT?

Moments By Liv specializes in gatherings and moments involving 2-50 people. I accommodate 1-15 people for my luxury picnic services. From an intimate date night to a fun party or celebration, I can't wait to plan and deliver on your dream moment!

WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE TO MY EVENT?

I absolutely understand unforeseen factors that come up, so I don't mind holding your booking for 15 mins from its agreed upon commencement time. After this time, unfortunately I will not be able to hold any longer, & your booking will be packed down. Chances are I'm leaving your set up to do another, and if you run late, that makes the next booking also run late! If you arrive late you will still be able to utilize the remainder of the time that you are booked. Depending on my schedule and any subsequent bookings in the day, there is a possibility of adding an extra hour for $95.

WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY?

I definitely understand how life happens and things beyond our control can come up! While I do not offer refunds, I am happy to allow you to reschedule your luxury moment for a date within six months of your original booking date (subject to availability) with a 20% fee. Please note that regardless of rescheduling plans, you will still be responsible for payment to any vendors you agreed to elevate your moment based on their cancelation/rescheduling policies.
